What is a Toastmasters Club?
At Toastmasters, members learn by speaking to groups and working with others in a supportive environment in order to improve members' skills in a range of areas that include preparing speeches, conducting meetings, impromptu speeches and speech evaluation. A typical Toastmasters club is made up of 20 to 30 people who meet regularly.
What is Curtin GSB Toastmasters like?
The members of Curtin GSB Toastmasters come from all walks of life and there is a vast array of nationalities, adding a global flavour to many of the project speeches. The club prides itself as being a friendly learning environment, an ideal venue for anyone to grow from a nervous beginner through to a seasoned performer. Whatever your personal reasons for wishing to join a club, please accept our invitation to visit as a guest and experience the atmosphere. Guests, please notify a committee member if you wish to attend a meeting. Guests can choose to be included in proceedings or simply observe.
